Jhandewalan Temple
Jhandewalan temple in Delhi is dedicated to Jhandewali Devi, a form of Adi Shakti Maa Parvati. This temple, located on the Delhi Ridge is a ‘Siddh Peeth and one of the oldest temples in Delhi. The idol of the Devi is a Swayambhu (Self Appeared) idol. In earlier days devotees used to plant flags here, as an offering to the Goddess, which gave the temple its name.
