Sri Anjaneya Swamy Vari Saswatha Aaku Puja - Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

Sri Anjaneya Swamy Vari Saswatha Aaku Puja is a special yearly seva performed at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman (Anjaneya Swamy). In this sacred ritual, betel leaves (tamalapaku) are offered in large numbers while chanting the Lord’s names and mantras. This unique puja symbolizes unwavering devotion and strength. Devotees perform it to gain courage, protection from negative forces, relief from fear, and success in personal and professional endeavors.

The puja begins with Ganapati Puja and Punyahavachanam for purification. Sankalpam is taken by the devotee, followed by Kalasha Sthapana. Priests then perform the Aaku Puja by offering numerous tamalapaku (betel leaves) to Sri Anjaneya Swamy while chanting powerful Hanuman mantras and stotras. The idol is then decorated with garlands and flowers. Naivedyam is offered, followed by Maha Harathi. The ritual concludes with blessings and the distribution of prasadam to all participating devotees.
