The month of Shravan Maas, typically falling between July and August, is devoted to intense worship of Lord Shiva. Performing Panchamrit Abhishek puja on Shravan Mas Monday is considered highly auspicious and spiritually rewarding, especially at Grishneshwar Mahadev Mandir. It is believed that the Samudra Manthan was done during the Shravan month and Lord Shiva had drunk Halahal Vish. In Sharawan Maas all Monday's Panchamrit abhisheks, puja priests will take the Sankalp in the name of the devotee. Then the invoking of Lord Shiv is with the prayers and Grishneshwar mantras and Rudra Path by the pujari. Panchamrit Abhishek will be performed on the Shivling every Monday of Shravan Maas using holy materials like water, milk, honey, ghee, sugar and Bilva Patra. After the completion of Shravan Maas, blessed Prasad will be sent to devotees at their residential address.
