Aarti of Maa Ganga is performed with devotion. Offer water to Vaitarni Devi near Bhavasagar and pray for salvation. Kamdhenu (silver cow idol) is worshipped with a kusha ring, flowers, yellow cloth, especially if the horns are of gold. Offer Panchamrit and chant mantras. The puja is concluded with a combined Aarti of Maa Ganga, Vaitarni and Kamdhenu.
