Sri Swamy Vaari Saswata Kalyanam - Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

Sri Swamy Vaari Saswata Kalyanam is a sacred and spiritually significant annual event conducted at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. In this divine ritual, the celestial wedding (Kalyanam) of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Goddess Lakshmi is performed with grandeur, devotion, and traditional Vedic procedures. Devotees can register for a lifetime or yearly participation, and their names are included in the sankalpam every year. This ritual symbolizes the union of divine energies and is believed to remove obstacles, bring marital harmony, prosperity, and blessings of divine grace for the participating devotees and their families.

The puja begins with Ganapathi Pooja to remove obstacles, followed by Punyahavachanam (purification). The deities of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Goddess Lakshmi are beautifully adorned and brought in procession to the mandapam. The priest performs Sankalpam in the name of registered devotees. Traditional Vedic rituals like Kanyadaanam, Mangalya Dharanam, and Homam are performed, symbolizing the divine wedding. Mantras and Vedic chants accompany the ritual. The event concludes with aarti, prasadam distribution, and blessings from the Lord.
