Sri Swamy Vaari Saswata Nitya Nijabhishekam - Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

Sri Swamy Vaari Saswata Nitya Nijabhishekam is a sacred, lifelong devotional offering at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, where abhishekam (ritual bath) is performed daily to the Moolavar (main deity) on behalf of registered devotees. This divine seva involves bathing the deity with holy substances like milk, curd, honey, turmeric, and sandalwood paste, accompanied by Vedic chanting. Devotees who enroll in this Saswata Seva receive blessings continuously, as their names are included in the daily sankalpam. It is believed to bring spiritual upliftment, health, prosperity, and the Lord’s eternal grace throughout one’s life and beyond.

The puja begins with Ganapathi Puja and Punyahavachanam to purify the surroundings. The Sankalpam is performed in the name of the registered devotee. The Nijabhishekam starts with offering various sacred substances like milk (दूध), curd (दही), honey (शहद), turmeric (हल्दी), sandalwood paste (चंदन), and Ganga jal (पवित्र जल) to the Moolavar deity. Vedic priests chant Sri Suktam, Purusha Suktam, and other sacred mantras. The deity is then adorned with fresh clothes, garlands, and ornaments. The ritual ends with aarti, prasadam distribution, and blessings from Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
