LB. Sri Kila Maisamma Temple, located in NTR Nagar, Hyderabad, is a revered temple dedicated to Goddess Maisamma, a powerful local deity associated with protection and prosperity. Set amidst the remains of an old fort, the temple blends history and deep spiritual significance. Devotees visit the temple throughout the week, especially on Fridays and during festivals such as Bonalu and Dussehra. The daily aarti is performed twice - at around 6:00 am and in the evening between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Prasadam is usually available after the aarti, especially on special puja and festive occasions. Although photography is prohibited inside the sanctum sanctorum, it is usually permitted in the outer premises, provided devotees do so respectfully. The temple draws large crowds during the month of Asadha and Bonalu, where lively rituals and community celebrations take place. Easily accessible by local transport, the temple is a peaceful and spiritually uplifting place in the midst of a bustling city.
