Maha Mrityunjaya Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva located in Ververi Gosaingaon, Nagaon. The temple is newly constructed and was completed in February 2021. The temple is made of unique structures and has many features. It reportedly houses the world's largest 126 feet high Shivling. The construction of the temple began in 2003 under the leadership of Acharya Bhrigu Giri Maharaj. According to mythological belief, Daityaguru Shukracharya chanted the Mahamrityunjaya mantra at this place, making the site extremely important from a religious point of view. The inauguration and Prana Pratishtha Mahotsav of the temple took place in February 2021, which was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other dignitaries. The temple is built in the shape of a Shivling, with a height of 126 feet and a circumference of 56 feet. It has a seating capacity of about 5000 devotees.
