Balajipuram Temple, also known as Shri Rukmini Balaji Temple, is located in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. This temple is a beautiful example of religious faith and South Indian architecture. It has a unique tunnel in the shape of a dragon, which connects various temples. It is an artificial reservoir, which extends from the main entrance of the temple to the sanctum sanctorum. It has about 10 beautiful fountains. Balajipuram Temple of Betul is also called the fifth Dham of India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Balaji and comes under Betul Bazaar Nagar Panchayat. The temple was built in 2001 by Sam Verma in South Indian style. Every year a big fair is held here on Vasant Panchami. This temple is also known as the abode of God in Kaliyuga. Now the temple is also known as a Veda education center. A special water pond where the idol of Lord Vishnu is situated in water, which people come from far and wide to see. Colourful fishes can also be seen in this pond. One of the main festivals is the first Vasant Panchami (Brahmotsavam) which is the foundation day of the temple, which is celebrated with great pomp. Thousands of devotees come on this occasion. The second is Karva Chauth, which is celebrated here every year with great devotion. Hundreds of married couples participate in the mass worship. And the third and most important Kalyan Mahotsav in which it is believed that the marriage festival of Lord Balaji, in which marriage is done with full rituals like Tirupati Balaji. On this occasion, the festival idol and priests are also invited from Tirupati. Along with Lord Balaji, there are idols of other deities in the temple like Shri Ganesh, Radha-Krishna, Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva, Hanuman Ji, Navgrah, and Shirdi Sai Baba.
