The Sindhu Centre is a serene Hindu temple and gathering spot for Sindhi Americans in Norwalk, California. The Sindhi Association of Southern California supports the preservation of Sindhi language, culture, and customs and is in charge of it. In the Sindhu centre, people of all ages gather to pray, celebrate holidays, discover their heritage, and experience a sense of belonging. The temple hosts Satsangs, Kirtans, and family-friendly events in addition to celebrating important Hindu holidays like Janmashtami, Navratri, Cheti Chand, and Mata Ka Jagran. The Sindhu Centre at California also promotes youth and families to maintain ties to their Sindhi heritage and engages in social work. There are Prasad, traditional bhajans, yoga, and occasionally cultural courses available to visitors.
