Brahmanaspati abhishek puja is dedicated to Lord Brahmanaspati who is also known as Brahmanaspati or Guru. Brahmanaspati is a considered a very sacred mantras. Brihaspati is considered the God of wisdom, knowledge, and Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system. It is beleived that the Brahmanaspati was written by Sage Grutsamad Shaunak. It is also Beleived that Brahmanaspati is a part of the Rigveda one of the four Vedas.
At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking of Lord Brihaspati is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. The central part of this puja is the recitation of Lord Brihaspati Brahmansukri pathan done by the pujariji. Than abhishek on Lord Brihaspati is done with helps of things like Milk, Ganga Jal and Panchamrit. Then devotees seek blessings from Lord Brihaspati.
