About Navagraha Temple

Navagraha Temple is a Hindu temple with nine celestial bodies located in the southeastern part of Guwahati, Assam. There are nine Shiva lingams. They represent the nine celestial bodies. These are covered with coloured cloths representing the nine planets. There is a Shivalingam at the centre which symbolises the Sun. The best time to visit this temple is from November to March. In these months the weather is cool and devotees enjoy visiting in this month.
