Rock Fort Temple is located in the city of Tiruchirappalli, on the banks of the river Kaveri. It is locally known as Malaikottai. The Archaeological Survey of India's Chennai Unit is currently in charge of maintaining the fort. The fort is one of the most popular tourist attractions. Brahmotsavam, Aadi Pooram and the Float Festival are important festivals of this temple. October to March are the best times to visit this temple.
