The Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is the fourth jyotirlinga out of twelve jyotirlingas. The real name of Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga is Amareshwar. Both the temple Omkareshwar and Mamaleshwar are the forms of the same Jyotirlinga. Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga is on the south bank of the Narmada, and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga is on the Omkar Parvat towards the north bank of the Narmada.
