About Shri Tirupati Temple
The Tirupati temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu. This temple is located at the joining point of the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea and is maintained by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. In this temple, sunlight will directly fall on the foot of the Venkateswara idol on April 14 of each year at the inner Sanctorum (Garbhagriha). Festival celebrations at this temple are Ram Navami, Janmashtami, Brahmotsvam, Vasanthoutsav, and Radhasaptami. The best time to visit Tirupati is between November and February.
