About Veerabhadra Temple

Veerabhadra Temple is dedicated to Lord Veerbhadra, a fierce form of Lord Shiva and is located in Lepakshi village, which is 15 km east of Hindupur in the Anantapur district. The temple displays hand-carved pillars, statues and artwork. The Statue of Nandi Bull, which was made of a single granite stone, is the main attraction of the temple. Maha Shivratri is an important festival celebrated at this temple.
