Arulmigu Arudra Kabaliswarar Temple is located in the Erode and just 3 km away from the railway station. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, who provides his blessings in the name of Arudra Kabaliswarar, it is a must-see temple. One of the most important Lord Shiva temples in all of Kongu Nadu. It's generally believed that a Chozha ruler built the Arulmigu Arudra Kabaliswarar Temple. Mahasivarathri, Jalabhisekha, Pongal, Ekadashi and Margazhi Tiruvadhirai are important festivals celebrated at this temple. September to March are the best times to visit this temple.

Periya Mariamman Temple is located near Panneer Selvam Park, opposite the Erode Corporation Building in Erode, Tamil Nadu. It is dedicated to the goddess Mariamman. The Panguni festival is celebrated during the Tamil month in this temple. Other important festivals celebrated at this temple are Kambam Naduthal, Maa vilakku and Karagam Eduthal. October to March are the best times to visit this temple.

Thindalmalai Murugan Temple is located on the Thindalmalai hillock near Erode, Tamil Nadu. It is dedicated to Lord Murugan. This temple is also known as Arulmigu Velayuthaswamy Thirukovil. A golden chariot temple car, used for carrying god images in ceremonial processions, is housed at the temple. Kandhar Shasti, Thirukkarthigai, Thai Poosam and Panguni Uthiram are important festivals of this temple. November and March are the best times to visit this temple.

Arulmigu Chennimalai Murugan Temple is located in the city of Chennimalai, Perundurai, Erode and is dedicated to Lord Murugan. This temple is located on a hill that is famous for its native plants and animals, some 600 metres above sea level. Within its beautiful forests, this hill boasts unique medicinal herbs. The names Siragiri and Chenniyangiri for this hill are in the Devanagiri language. Thaipusam is an important festival for this temple. The best time to visit this temple is between September and March.

Bannari Amman Temple is located in Erode district, Tamil Nadu. The main deity is Goddess Mariamman, in the form of Mother Durga, Maha Kali or Shakthi. This god is powerful in Tamil and Kannada folklore. as every village in the Kongu region of Tamil Nadu has a Mariamman temple.
