Puja at Bhimashankar

Rudra form represents the Lord shiva's aggressive, furious and destructive nature. "Rudra" is one of the famous name of Lord Shiva. Panchamrit Rudrabhishek puja is a ritual dedicate to Lord Shiva. In this puja Abhishek is done on Shivling with the help of panchamrit. "Panchamrit" is a mixture of 5 sacred thing like Milk, Ghee, Sugar, Honey and curd. This puja also involves chanting of Rudri path. Panchamrit Rudrabhishek puja is done seek blessings from Lord Shiva.

Shodosopchar Puja is the Puja of 16 Mantras mentioned in Purushsukta. Puja is performed by this 16 Mantra.
