Puja at Prachi Tirth

Tirth Shradh is a ritual where offering is made to the ancestors like food, water and their favourite items. It is mainly done to satisfy the unfulfilled wants of spirits. The Shradh is done in Prachi for mainly one ancestor and prayers include the last three generations of the ancestors from both father’s and mother’s sides. This ritual is done for the spirits of the ancestors to find peace and moksha. The duration of Shradh is usually 15 days, although it can be shorter or longer depending on individual beliefs and regional customs.

Pret dosh is formed due to the ill placement of specific planets and their combination in the birth chart of a person. There are a few combinations of planets that may cause the Pret Dosh in a person's Kundali. The Pret Dosh is also known as bhoot pret badha and it has effects on the person's mental and physical health. It is believed that a person with Pret Dosh in Kundali is surrounded by negative energies. In this situation person loses mental peace and turns out violent, has anger issues and suffers from physical and mental issues. Performing this at Prachi is beneficial.

Rudra Abhishek is a significant and sacred Vedic ritual performed to get the blessings of Lord Shiva. This puja in Prachi includes the bathing of Lord Shiva along with chanting of mantras with items like Panchamrit, Milk and other sacred items. Narayan Bali Puja at Prachi is performed to appease Lord Narayan for the unnatural death of a human or any Pitru Dosh found in the horoscope. This puja is to be performed in all cases of unnatural deaths, like death by animals, fire, curse, cholera, disease, suicide, snake bite etc. Narayan Bali is performed to fulfil and pacify the unsatisfied desires of dead souls who are trapped in our world because these desires stay with the soul even after death. To get rid of their pain they trouble their own family.

Doing Laghu Rudrabhishek puja and Hawan is best way to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. The word "Laghu" means short or small and "Rudrabhishek" means abhishek of Lord Shiva is done with the help of things like Panchamrit, Milk, Curd and Ghee etc. In this ritual Lord Shiva worshiped in his "Rudra" form. Mantras are chanted by the pujari and Hawan also performed. 

Prachi Grah Shanti Yagna is done to remove the negative effects of nine celestial bodies which are referred to as Navgrahas in Vedic Astrology. 9 Celestial bodies include the sun, moon, mars, mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. According to astrology, movement or change in the position of Graha can change a person's life like various doshas.

To perform this puja, one must perform a hawan/homam, while chanting the Navagraha puja mantra. During the puja, people light up incense sticks and diyas with complete devotion.

Prachi Navchandi Puja is a form of Nav Durga Puja, which is performed to worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga. It is done in the form of a Yajna, which is a religious ritual involving sacred fire and chanting of mantras. By performing this havan, devotees get freedom from suffering.

Dasha Ekadashi Shradh is a ritual in which paying homage and offering is done with prayers to the ancestors, especially to the Parents and Grandparents. The puja is done to remember ancestors and seek their blessings. It is believed that during this time, the souls of the deceased ancestors visit the earth and performing this ritual in Prachi helps to ensure their well-being for their afterlife.

Narayan Nagbali consists of two different rituals. Narayan Bali in Prachi is done to get rid of an ancestral curse (Pitru dosh /Pitru Shaap) while Nag bali is done to get rid of sin committed by the killing of a snake, especially a Cobra which is worshipped in India.
