Tripindi Shradha Puja

Tripindi Shradha, also known as Kamya Shradha, is a Shradha offered in the memory of passed souls. Tripindi Shradha Puja is a ritual performed for the ancestors of the past three generations when regular Shraddh rituals haven't been conducted for three years.

If this Tripindi Shradha has not been performed properly for the last three years, then the ancestors get angry. Therefore, this Tripindi Shradha rite is performed to pacify their souls.

If anyone in the family has passed away in youth and old age from the last three generations, then this ritual should be performed. It's believed to be more effective when performed in holy places like Gaya, Trimbakeshwar, Kashi, Gokarna, Rameswaram and Udupi. Tripindi Shradha Puja Vidhi
