Navchandi Yagya

Mahurgad temple is dedicated to Goddess Renukadevi.It is beleived that the renukadevi temple is one of the three and half Shakti peeth.  Navchandi path is a powerfull ritual dedicated to Goddess Chanadi. In this puja all the nine forms of Goddess Durga is worshipped. During this puja various mantras are chanted by the pujari. Durga saptashati is also known as Devi Mahatmaya or chandi path.

Nav Chandi Hawan is also known as Nav Chandi Yagna" or "Nav Chandi Puja". "Nav" means "Nine" and "Chandi" means "The aggressive avatar of Parvati or Durga". In this Hawan Goddess Chandi is worship. This Hawan is performed to invoke the goddess for taking blessings, protection and prosperity. 

The Durga Saptarshi Navchandi Havan is a powerful and  Spiritually significant ritual. This puja is combination of two puja durga saptarshi and navchandi  havan which is performed to worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga. This path and havan is performed to seek her blessings and protection. Chandi Havan holds great spiritual significance as it represents the battle of good over evil.

Naavchandi havan is a Havan which is performed to worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga. Navchandi Yagna is a religious ritual involving sacred fire and chanting of mantras. The Navchandi Havan involves the recitation of differents foms of "Chandi Path" or "Durga Saptashati" which is a good sacred text that tells the story of Goddess Chandi's battles and victories over various demons and negativies forces. 

Prachi Navchandi Puja is a form of Nav Durga Puja, which is performed to worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga. It is done in the form of a Yajna, which is a religious ritual involving sacred fire and chanting of mantras. By performing this havan, devotees get freedom from suffering.

This verse describe the story of the the battle between Goddess Durga and Mahishasura.

Navchandi path involves powerful saptashati mantras. Navchandi path includes 700 mantras divided into 13 chapters. This path expresses the victory of Goddess Durga over demon Mahishasur. Performing this path with hawan is considered highly auspicious. 

Navratri is made up of two words “Nav” meaning nine and “Ratri” meaning night. Goddess Durga has nine form include Maa Shailputri, Maa Brahmacharini, Maa Chandraghanta, Maa Kushmanda, Maa Skandamata, Maa Katyayani, Maa Kalaratri, Maa Mahagauri, and Maa Siddhidatri. Navratri is nine day festival it is celebrated over nine nights and ten days. The Navratri  tells the story of the battle between Goddess Durga and Mahishasur. Each day of Navratri is dedicated to a different form of Durga. Goddess is known as shakti the ultimate source of energy and power. By worshiping the Goddess daily during Navratri, devotees gets the blessings of the Goddess. 

Nav means “Nine” and Chandi refers to Chandika meaning “The Fierce” –another form of Goddess Durga who represents the Shakti power of Durga Saptashati. It consists of 700 verses that narrate the story of the goddess and her battle against the buffalo demon, Mahishasura.
