Puja at Ahmednagar

Jal Abhishek puja is a sacred ritual involving water offered on the lingam. The puja is mostly performed in the temples. Abhishek Puja is performed to invoke the blessings of Rudra in the form of  Lord Shiva. It is believed that Lord Shiva is pleased by pouring water on Shivling.

Doing this puja is beneficial for devotees and their families.  It is believed that the doing Satya Narayan Katha a person gets the same result as performing a thousand yagnas.
