Kaal sarp dosh occurs when all the planets are situated between Rahu and Ketu in a person's birth chart. Rahu and Ketu are considered shadow planets, and when all the other planets cannot move easily. This situation is believed to create a negative yoga or dosha called Kaal Sarp Dosh. This dosh is thought to bring various challenges and obstacles in an individual's life. To remove this kinds of dosh a person needs to do Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Puja.

Navgrah Havan is a ritual performed to appease and seek blessings from all the nine grahs (planets).
