Thindalmalai Murugan Temple is located on the Thindalmalai hillock near Erode, Tamil Nadu. It is dedicated to Lord Murugan. This temple is also known as Arulmigu Velayuthaswamy Thirukovil. A golden chariot temple car, used for carrying god images in ceremonial processions, is housed at the temple. Kandhar Shasti, Thirukkarthigai, Thai Poosam and Panguni Uthiram are important festivals of this temple. November and March are the best times to visit this temple.
