Puja At Porbandar

Dosh Nivaran Puja in Porbandar is performed to remove the negative effects of nine celestial bodies, called Navgraha in Vedic astrology. The 9 celestial bodies include Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. According to astrology, the change or transformation in the position of planets can change a person's life like various doshas. To perform this puja, Havan/Homa is performed while chanting Navgrah Puja Mantra. During the puja, people light incense sticks and diya with full devotion.
