Lord Shiva has many names like Shambhu, Mahadev, Shankar and Neelkanth. "Rudra" is one of the famous name of Lord Shiva.  Rudrabhishek puja is a ritual dedicate to Lord Shiva. In this ritual God Mahadev is worshipped in his Rudra form. The Rudra form of Lord Shiva represents his fierce and powerful aspect. The term "Rudra" symbolizes Lord Shiva in his fierce form and "Abhishek" refers to offering. Rudrabhishek puja involves offering sacred liquids and chanting mantras. Performing Rudrabhishek puja helps make Lord Shiva happy and helpful to get blessings from great divine.

Bilva Patra Arpan means offering Bilva Patra. The Bilva Tree is considered sacred and Bilva Tree leaf is most favourite tree of Lord Shiva. The Bilva Patra represents the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Bilva Patra has three gun – Sattva, Rajas and Tamas which create all aspects of creation. Bilva Patra has also been given importance in Ayurveda due to its medicinal properties.   The three leaves of the Bilva tree are called Bilva Dal, which is considered to be a representation of Trishul, the weapon of Lord Shiva. By performing Bel Patra Puja, devotees get the blessings of Lord Shiva.

The Maha Mrityunjay Jaap puja is a sacred Hindu ritual centred around the chanting Jaap of the Maha Mrityunjay mantra, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also known as Rudra Mantra in Basuki Nath which is chanted for various purposes like protection, good health and overcoming the fear of death. The Maha Mrityunjay Jap involves repeating Jaap's mantras several times.

The Angarak dosh forms in someone's kundli when the planet Mars is placed with Rahu in one of the houses of the Janma Kundali. This puja is performed to eliminate the impact of the Mangal-Rahu conjunction. In Baba Basukinath temple the  Angarak Dosh Puja can also be performed when Mangal is placed with Ketu.
