The "64 Yoginis" refer to a group of goddesses. The number 64 is significant in this context because there are traditionally believed to be 64 Yoginis. In this puja Maa kalika is main and her 63 female Sakhiyan are present. It is also believed that all these goddess is the incarnation of Kali Mata while fighting with a demon named Ghor. Das Mahavidyas and Siddha Vidyas are also counted among these sixty-four goddesses.
At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than all the 64 yoginis are worshipped by the pujari ji. Than chanting of mantras are done by the pujari ji. Also, 5 kumari girls are given bhojan, srungar etc. by the pujari ji, Than havan is done and sacred items are offered in the havan. At last the blessings are taken and the puja is completed.
