About

The Brahmhatya Dosha Puja is an ancient Vedic ritual aimed at mitigating the negative consequences (doshas) of serious karmic actions committed in past lives or this life, such as the killing of a Brahmin, scholar, or guru. It is a ritual of atonement and penance, designed to dispel negative energy, resolve inexplicable difficulties, and restore harmony to one's life. This is a sacred ritual, often involving the chanting of the Katha Upanishad from the Yajurveda, performed to ward off or overcome fear and negative karma.

First, the devotees bathe in the sacred waters of the sea. After that, a Shiva lingam is created from sand by the devotees and the pandit ji for the worship of Lord Shiva. After that, sanklap is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking Lord Shiva is done by chanting of mantras and prayers by pandit ji.  Then the devotees offer Ganga Jal, Flowers, Milk etc at the parthiv shiv lingam with chanting mantras and prayers which is done by pandit ji. With perform this puja, pandit ji chants 108 Maha Mrityunjay Jaap also. At last puja is done and the blessings of lord shiva and the ancestors are taken by the devotees.

Benefits of Puja

This practice, which is frequently devoted to Lord Shiva, is thought to offer solace from severe life crises, psychological suffering, and curses. This puja aids in removing long-standing challenges including unexpected financial losses, the inability to hold onto riches, unstable employment, and persistent, inexplicable illnesses.
