Harsidhhi Mata Chandi Yagya which is also known as chandi havan is described as one of the most powerful rituals in the Hindu religion. In this Yagya, a form of Goddess Durga is worshipped as Goddess Chandi. The yagya is performed to seek her blessings and protection. Chandi Havan holds great spiritual significance as it represents the battle of good over evil.
First Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking of Goddess Durga is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then all the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga are worshipped. Then the path of Goddess Chandi is done and a hawan is performed at the end of puja. At last, aarti is done of the Goddess Chandi and her blessings are taken.
