Navgrah Shanti Puja is a Vedic ritual performed to appease and seek blessings from the nine celestial bodies(Navgrahas) that governs various aspects of human life. At, first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then mantras are chanted to invoke all the Navgrah or nine planets. Along with it Lord Ganesha is invoked to remove any kinds of obstacles or hurdles that might affect the puja. Then offering of things like flowers etc are done by the pujariji along with chanting of mantras for all the Navgrahs. At last aarti is done and the puja is completed.
