About
Naavchandi havan is a Havan which is performed in Jwala Mata to worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga. Navchandi Yagna is a religious ritual involving sacred fire and chanting of mantras. The Navchandi Havan involves the recitation of different forms of "Chandi Path" or "Durga Saptashati" which is a good sacred text that tells the story of Goddess Chandi's battles and victories over various demons and negative forces.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than Lord Ganesh is worshipped. Then all the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga are worshipped. At last, aarti is done of all the gods and their blessings are taken.
