The term "Solah Shringar" translates to "sixteen ornaments" and signifies the beautification of the deity. These sixteen ornaments are meant to honour and beautify the idol of Lord Ganesha. The offering of these items is accompanied by prayers and devotional songs. Performing this puja at Khajrana Ganesh is very auspicious.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then Abhishek of Lord Ganesh is done with the help of Panchamrit following proper Vedic rituals and mantras by the pujari. Then offering of the Bhog is done by the pujari to Lord Ganesh. At last, aarti is done by the pujari and the puja is completed by taking the blessings of the devotees.
