Laghu Chandi Hawan is a extremely powerful Vedic fire ritual which is performed during the 12-day Saraswathi Pushkaralu particularly at Kaleshwaram, Telangana. where the Godavari, Pranahita, and Saraswati rivers converge—to invoke Goddess Durga (Chandi). It serves as a condensed yet intense form of the full Chandi Homam, designed with the specific objective of bestowing prosperity, success, and protection against negative forces. During the Saraswati Pushkaram, this ritual is frequently conducted at the Pushkar Ghat or in the vicinity of the Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swami Temple. This ritual is mostly performed for receive blessings of goddess Chandi/Durga which is representing Divine Power (Shakti).
At first, sanklap is taken by the name of the devotees. After that, Lord Ganesh is invoked by the priest and performed the puja with chanting mantras. After Kalash is establish by the priest and Goddess Chandi(Goddess Durga) is invoked by the priest. After, Durga Saptashti 13 chapters Path chanting is done with fire ritual. In the Hawan Kund Ghee, Herbs, etc things are offered in the hawan Kund by the devotees. At the last, the final offering of saree, coconut, and other items into the Hawan Kund. And blessing and Prasad are taken by the devotees.
