Goddess Durga is the Adi shakti and she is the protector of the universe. Chandi is another name of Goddess Durga. Sat Means "Truth" Chandi Means “Goddess Chandi or Chandrika”. Sat Chandi Hawan in Lalita Devi Mata Temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandi the Shat chandi path is a ritual that involves reciting of Durga Saptashati path 100 times. This chandi path contains 700 shloks and It is believed that the chandi path verses are from Markandey puran. Surga Saptashati's path is considered one of the most powerful hawan to remove problems.
At first, Kalash is established. Then the kalash is filled with the help of coconut and mango leaves. Then Sankalp is taken in the name of devotees. Then invoking Goddess Durga is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then 11 Pujari recites Durga Saptashtipath path 108 times. Later, Pujariji sets fire in the Hawan Kund and performs the Hawan Vidhi while chanting Durga Saptashtipath. At last, Arti of Goddess Chandi is done, and blessings are taken by the devotees.
