About
Rudra Abhishek is a Vedic ritual of worshipping Lord Shiva. Rudra Abhishek is done by bathing the Lord Shiva by pouring over the milk or Panchamrit on Shiv Ling along with chanting the name and mantras. Rudra Abhishek is done to make lord shiva happy.
At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking Lord Shiva is done with the help of mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then things like milk, water, flowers etc by following all the Vedic rituals and mantras by the pujari. Chanting of Rudra mantras is also done by the pujari. At last, aarti is done of the Shivling and the puja is completed by taking the blessings of Lord Shiva by the devotees.
