Because this is a Shakti Peetha, the rituals follow a specific sequence to balance the "Rudra" (fierce/transformative) and "Chandi" (protective/maternal) energies. Traditional and conservative attire is strictly expected. Men usually wear dhotis or kurta-pyjamas for Havans, and women wear sarees or suits.
First Sankalp is taken in the name of devotee then gauri & ganesh puja is performed for removing obstacles from the puja. preist will chant mantras and durga saptashati path. a havan will performed and offerings are offered into the havan kund and in end a coconut is offered into the sacred fire which marks as the completation of sacrifice. in last arti arti is done blessings is taken by devotee.
