Sri Swamy Vari Laksha Pushparchana Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

About
Lakh Pushparchana at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is a grand devotional ritual in which one lakh (100,000) flowers are offered to the Lord along with continuous chanting of His divine names. Conducted by the temple priests with Vedic mantras and devotion, this ritual fills the sanctum sanctorum with divine energy and fragrance. Devotees participate in or sponsor this service to seek blessings of health, wealth, protection, and spiritual upliftment. It is believed to purify karma, fulfil wishes, and strengthen devotion and faith in Lord Narasimha.
Lakshmi Pushparcha begins with Sankalpa, in which the devotee's name, gotra and purpose are stated. The priest chants divine names from Vedic mantras and Vishnu Sahasranama or Narasimha Stotra. With each name, a flower or Tulsi leaf is offered to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. The Lord is adorned with flowers, and lamps, incense, naivedya and mangal harati are offered. Devotees also join in the chanting. The ritual ends with the distribution of tirtha and prasad, which continues for several hours with intense devotion and precision.
