Suvarna Pushparchana - Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

About
The ceremony of Suvarna Pushparchana is sacred and unique. Usually at Yadadri or other similar temples, it is performed at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. Gold is what "Suvarna" signifies. "Pushparchana" refers to the offering of flowers. Golden or gold-colored flowers are presented to the Lord during this puja. These flowers may be symbolic or genuine. The ceremony demonstrates affluence, purity, and dedication. It is thought to bring success and many benefits. It brings tranquillity and solves issues. Throughout the puja, Vedic mantras are recited. The purpose of the puja is to honour Lord Narasimha, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu. According to devotees, this rite forgives karmic debts. It shields against negative energy as well.
The Suvarna Pushparchana Puja begins with the purification of the devotee through sankalpam, where the devotee states their name, gothra, and purpose of the offering. The priest invokes the presence of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy through dhyana (meditation) and avahana (invitation). The deity is then offered panchamrita abhishekam (bathing with five sacred items), followed by alankarana (decoration) with silk garments, jewelry, and flowers. The main ritual involves offering symbolic golden flowers or gold-colored petals to the Lord while chanting the 108 or 1008 divine names of Sri Narasimha Swamy. Each name is recited with the offering of one flower. This archana is accompanied by Vedic chants and sacred hymns from the Narasimha Stotra and Lakshmi Sahasranamam. After the archana, harathi is offered with deepa (lamp) and dhoopa (incense), concluding with prasadam distribution. The puja is believed to grant divine protection, prosperity, and removal of doshas and negative energies.
