Ujjian - Rahu Shanti Puja

The Rahu is one of the nine planets. Rahu is associated with karmic challenges, obstacles, confusion, and illusion. The Rahu Jaap is dedicated to the planet Rahu. When a person faces challenges in life, including health, career, relationships, and general well-being, it means that the person's Rahu grah is not prominent in their birth chart. The purpose of the Rahu Shanti Puja is to please Grah Rahu and minimise its negative effects. In this puja, Rahu mantras and Rahu Gaytri mantras are chanted. This puja also includes the offering of things like flowers, sesame, and other things while chanting Rahu stotram. Performing this puja helps to get rid from negative effects of Rahu shanti and helps to receive blessings from God Rahu. 

At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then the involvement of Lord Ganesh is done with the help of mantras by the pujari to remove all kinds of problems and hurdles associated with the puja.  Then pujariji performs Dosh nivaran vidhi. Pujariji offers offerings to the God Rahu and chates Rahu mantras, Rahu gayatri mantras, and Rahu stotras. At last the puja is completed, and blessings of God Rahu are taken by the devotees.
