About

The Tripindi Shradh Puja is a ritual performed in Varanasi to bring peace to the souls of ancestors who have died with unfulfilled desires or without proper rites. It is believed that this puja can remove the Pitru Dosh. Tripindi Shradh Puja can be performed at any holy place. This puja includes offering 3 Pinds to three generations of ancestors.

At first, devotees take a dip bath in the holy river for purification and then wear holy clothes. Then Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Pujari creates balls from rice and jaggery and then devotees offer these balls to Pitru. This puja will be performed With 1 Brahmin.
