A Vastu Shanti Puja is performed to appease the Vastu Purush (the deity of the structure) and for removing any architectural or spiritual imbalances. Engaging 2 to 3 Brahmins allows for a more elaborate puja, where one priest will lead the rituals and the other will focus on continuous Mantra chanting and the Havan. Vastu Shanti is especially aimed at removing obstacles to wealth, help a person to ensure that the hard-earned income of the family stays within the home.
First Sankalp is taken in the name of devotee and lord ganesh is worshipped for removing obstacles from the puja. then priest will purify the house and the participants with the Vedic mantras and sprinkled holy water. A geometric grid (Mandala) is drawn on the floor using colored grains or powders Then Brahmins will perform "Prana Pratishtha" to invoke the Vastu deity into this grid. nine planets are worshipped to ensure planetary harmony within the household. then havan is performed and final offerings is made into the havan. in last arti is performed and blessing are taken by devotees.
