So they perform puja to fulfil their wishes in Yamunotri. Puja with Yamuna Kavach will guard you from the hurdles and problems coming to you.

At first, the Sankalp will be done in the name of the person. After this, Maa is worshipped with chundari/sari, Bindi, Vermillion, Bangles, flowers, dhup, dip, coconut and prasad. Then the puja of Mother Yamuna is done with Yamunashtak and Yamuna Kavach. At last, the aarti has been done.
