The Bajrangdas Bapa Temple, also known as the Bapa Sitaram Ashram, is a revered spiritual center located in Bagdana village, Mahuva Taluka, Bhavnagar district, Gujarat. It is dedicated to Sant Bajrangdas Bapa, affectionately called Bapa Sitaram, a mystic saint deeply venerated across Saurashtra and Gujarat.Born in 1906 in Adhewada village near Bhavnagar, Bapa was originally named Bhaktiram. His parents, Hiradas and Shiwar Kuwarbai, were Ramanandi Sadhus with roots tracing back to Rajasthan . At the age of nine, Bapa attended the Nashik Kumbh Mela with his spiritual mentor, Shri Sitaramdas Bapu. He performed his main sadhana at the Mandakini River near Chitrakoot, achieving yogic enlightenment at 28. Following his guru's guidance, he adopted the name Bajrangdas Bapa and embarked on extensive pilgrimages across India, including visits to Ayodhya, Surat, Palitana, and the Himalayas. In 1941, he settled in Bagdana, where he established a small hermitage (Madhuli) that evolved into a significant ashram by 1951.
