The Bhadwa Mata Temple, located about 18 km east of Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, is a significant religious site dedicated to the goddess Bhadwa Mata. It's considered a prominent Shaktipeeth, and devotees seek spiritual strength and healing at the temple. The temple is also known for its holy Baawdi, believed to have healing properties, especially for skin diseases. The origins of the Bhadwa Mata Temple trace back to the 10th–11th century CE during the reign of the Parmar dynasty. Over the centuries, the temple underwent various renovations, notably in the 14th and 15th centuries, with contributions from the Bhil community, who have been associated with the temple's rituals since the 7th century. In the 17th century, the temple came under the patronage of the Gwalior rulers.
