About Chaturbhuj Temple

Chaturbhuj Temple is located in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh and is dedicated to Vishnu. A combination of the words "four" ('chatur') and "arms" ('bhuj'), the name Chaturbhuj means "one who has four arms" and refers to Rama, a Vishnu avatar. The temple is famous for having the tallest Vimanas, standing 344 feet tall. The Annakoot Festival is an important festival for this temple. October to March are the best times to visit this temple.
