Chintaman Ganesh is the largest temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated on the Fatehabad railway line, across the Kshipra River, about 7 km southwest of the main Ujjain town. The temple was built during the 11th and 12th centuries when the Paramaras were in power in the Malwa region. People also believe that the temple's origins can be traced back to the time of the Ramayana, and it is said to have been established by Sita, the wife of Lord Rama. Festivals also celebrated at this Temple are Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Holi and Navratri.
