Chirhula Temple is a famous temple of Rewa. It is situated on the banks of Chirhula pond, which further increases its religious and cultural importance. This temple was built about 500 years ago by Chirhaul Das Baba as per the instructions of his Guru, Sant Ramdas Ji. Hanuman Ji is seated in the main Garbhgruh of this temple. Apart from this, there is a huge Shiva temple behind this temple where 12 Jyotirs have been established. A large crowd of devotees is seen in the Chirhula temple every week on Tuesday and Saturday. Devotees come from faraway places to visit this temple. And every year during the month of Sawan, the premises of this temple is filled with devotees, and a crowd of lakhs is seen. In this temple, huge crowds gather on Shivaratri and Hanuman Jayanti.
