Dakshinkali Temple is located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Dakshinkali Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Dakshinkali, with "Dakshin" meaning "south" in Sanskrit and "Kali" being the goddess herself. In this temple, Goddess Kali is shown with her foot on Lors Shiva's chest. Goddess Dakshinkali is the popular form of Goddess Kali. Goddess protects her devotees from misfortunes. Dakshin Kali Temple has also the same religious value as Pashupatinath Temple and Manakamana Temple in Nepal. Dashain festival is the major festival that is celebrated at the temple.
