Deo Surya Mandir

The Deo Surya Mandir is located in the city of Deo, Bihar, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Surya Dev. The temple is considered to be one of the most sacred places for worshippig Surya Dev for Chhath Puja. It is believed that the Deo Sun Temple by Lord Vishwakarma in one night. However, some inscriptions and local oral traditions do hint at the presence of temple around the 7th or 8th century AD.
