Hiranya Varna Mahavihar temple is also known as Kwa Baha latterly means "Gold colored Great Monastery". This historical temple is located in Patan, Nepal. This temple was built by King Bhaskar Varman in twelfth century. The main Shakyamuni Buddha shrine is guarded by two metal images of Lokeshvara, seated on lions. This temple contains idol of lion, attractive doors, here is a series of small reliefs of the Five Buddhas.
